Martlesham
Landform is promoting a site of around 17 hectares (42 acres) at Martlesham, adjacent to the Felixstowe Road. Martlesham is an historic village with a population of some 5,500 people. The village is within 500 metres of Martlesham Creek on the River Deben, an area of outstanding natural beauty and wildlife.
The area is about six miles to the east of Ipswich and close to Martlesham Heath, home to Adastral Park, the main BT Research and Development centre in the UK.
The site is suitable for residential use, public open spaces and sports facilities. It is currently being promoted through the emerging Suffolk Coastal Local Plan for new homes, of which a significant number will be offered for self-build housing.
